Massachusetts Electric Vehicle Incentive Program (MassEVIP)

  •  The Massachusetts Electric Vehicle Incentive Program (MassEVIP) offers grants of up to 100% of the cost of Direct Current Fast Charging (DCFC), Level 1 or Level 2 EV charging stations, capped at $50,000 per street address or per DCFC charging station whichever applies.
  • Eligible recipients include private, public, or non-profit workplaces and fleets with at least 15 on-site employees. The funding is sourced from the Massachusetts share of the Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust and is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted.

Businesses Can Receive up to 100% off Wiring and New Rebates for EV Chargers

Eversource: Electric Vehicle Charger Rebates for Massachusetts Businesses

  • Fund up to 100% of the wiring needed for your new EV Charging Stations and get a special rebate on the chargers themselves.
  • Who qualifies: Installing EV chargers in places like public parking lots, commercial office buildings and shopping centers, as well as solutions for multi-unit residential dwellings and light-duty fleets.
  • In addition, you must also apply for all available state and federal funding you are eligible for, including the MassEVIP program.
  • If your business is located in an Environmental Justice community, you may be eligible for rebates up to 100% of the cost to purchase up to 10 EV charging ports, in addition to the EV charger infrastructure rebate.

National Grid: EV Charging at Little to No Cost

  • For Public and Workplace EV Charging Stations: The program covers up to 100%* of the electrical infrastructure expenses for installing electric vehicle charging stations, and offers rebates for approved qualifying publicly accessible stations' equipment costs and networking fees.
  • For Multi-Unit Dwelling EV Charging Stations: Properties with 5 or more units can fund up to 100% of the electrical infrastructure costs and additional rebates on charging station equipment costs.  (For 20+ unit properties, consider participating in the complimentary MUD EV-Ready Site plan)
